JUST IN: Trump Administration Planning Cyberattacks On Obamacare

Bitter about the fact that they are unable to pass an Affordable Care Act repeal bill, the Trump Administration is planning the have the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) schedule hours-long maintenance shutdowns of the federal Obamacare exchange during the next open enrollment period.

In a move that is borderline criminal, HHS will shut down the website for a ‘maintenance’ period from 12am-12pm on every Sunday from November 1st until December 15th as well as all night on the first night the exchange is open.

Obamacare navigator group, Utah Health Policy project, an organization which helps people sign up for coverage on the exchanges, said that the shutdowns could impact sign-ups.

“I could see this really impacting the ability of people to complete an application sign-up in a single sitting, which is so important,” said Jason Stevenson.

Such navigator groups have also seen their budgets slashed by 41 percent, impeding one avenue in which people can find the right coverage. HHS has also cut the budget for advertising and outreach from $100 million last year to $10 million this year.

Due to this purposeful sabotage, ObamaCare is expected to have a smaller enrollment this year.
